When Gen Con came to us, they were not just looking for a typical AV provider. They needed a partner to work with that could help support their entire event technology from badge registration to the wrap party. They needed someone with expertise in computers and networking, audio, video, and lighting. Another requirement was not just support the show management, but also provide for the many exhibitors they have from small game shops to companies like Blizzard. Gen Con has been around a long time and sees their exhibitors not only as strategic to their success, but in many cases their friends. They needed someone big enough to provide all of this, but small enough to be flexible as a partner versus a vendor. Gen Con was our first client and we have been doing their events every year since. We delivered a comprehensive solution including a network of computers and printers that support registration of attendees and exhibitors to the show. Reaction AV provides audio and video for everything from their opening ceremonies to each of the various open game areas and break out rooms. And at the end of this large event, we provide all the technology for their wrap party concert.
