The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) is a non-profit association for office professionals. IAAP strives to be the premier network and resource for those in administrative positions across the country, ensuring that individuals working in these roles have the opportunity to connect, learn, lead and excel in their lives. The association was founded in 1942 as the National Secretaries Association to provide a professional network and educational resources for secretarial staff. The association’s name was changed in 1998 to the International Association of Administrative Professionals to encompass the large number of varied administrative job titles and recognize the advancing role of administrative support staff in business and government.
OUR INVOLVEMENT
Early in 2013, IAAP’s Annual-TEC13 Meeting faced unexpected communication and budget problems from the venue’s in-house provider at the ninth hour. In an effort to save their event, IAAP called on Reaction Audio Visual to step in last minute and provide the audiovisual services they had previously relied on from the in-house provider. With our team working seamlessly as a member of the IAAP team, this meeting was ultimately produced flawlessly and under the given budget. As a result, Reaction Audio Visual was awarded as the official AV provider for all of IAAP’s EFAM Annual Meetings in the future. This event composed of educational sessions and workshops has now grown into four Regional TEC meetings held across the nation – Making both the events and IAAP as a whole an important part of Reaction Audio Visual’s calendar throughout the year.
